Artist Statement
A reverence for nature and the Creator has always guided my passion for creating art. For me, art should transcend mere craftsmanship. Art and the process of making art is an act of meditation, of reflection on our purpose in life and thereby reinventing ourselves and the world around us each day.
Art should distil an object to its emotional essence and in this way not just mimic nature, but render visible the small miracles of nature that we pass by so effortlessly each day: the flutter of a butterfly’s wings, the rustle of the wind in the trees, the laughter of a child.
